Here are the actual high temperatures in Syracuse for each day in February 2021 compared to the average high, (based on stats that go back to 1901) and the difference that day, + or – as well as a running deficit or surfeit. Here is the website I used for these numbers:

Comments: Winter was a whimp in December and January but reminded us he was here in February: -51 degrees and 11-17 vs. the average high. It seemed the whole month like we were stuck in the middle of it when, in fact it was time for the winter weather, to back off, break up and wind down. They are predicted we might hit 60 next week so maybe the season are preparing to change. The big dates are:

4/21: Average high reaches 60
5/18: Average high reaches 70
6/20: First Day of Summer
