Federal Appeals Court says NCAA schools only required to pay Cost of Attendance, no payments required for using their likeness.

My guess is this moves to the Supreme Court.

However they did rule that the NCAA violates anti-trust laws in that their rules governing amateurism are too strict...

Huh? TCOA varies significantly from school to school. For in-state public schools it's typically just over $20k/year while for private schools it's roughly $60k/year. How do you propose that these would become uniform?

I think what he is saying is that this ruling would effectively kill any ideas the NCAA may have had in leveling the playing field in the future with regards to TCOA.
