SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University field hockey team was ranked No. 13 in the nation in the latest Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll, the NFHCA announced on Tuesday. Every team in the seven-team ACC was ranked in the latest coaches' poll.

In the second release of the NCAA Division I Field Hockey RPI Rankings, SU was ranked No. 17 in the country. Like the coaches' poll, every program in the ACC ranks in the top 20 of the RPI Rankings.

Through 10 contests, Syracuse holds a 7-3 overall record and has appeared in every ranking release to date this season. SU is one of six ACC teams ranked in the top 15 of the latest coaches' poll.

The Orange will hit the road for Princeton for its next game. The game is slated to begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5 in Princeton, N.J.
