You realize in the South, Midwest and even Pennsylvania...alumni regularly drive back from games from locations 1-5 hrs away?

Clemson, SC a town about the size of Cortland gets 80,000+ to their games.
Yes, if you polled the fans in the Carrier Dome about 80 to 90 percent would be from within 30 minutes of the dome. When I drove to the PSU game at state college we stopped at a Mcdonalds that was more then 30 miles away and it was jam packed with sappy valley faithful. I guess we have been through this about 100 times on the board. My point being that I'm not that sure that we should blame the football attendance on Onondaga County.

i had season tickets for 8 years after i graduated.

still make a game here or there, but its not my job.

mine is tv ratings.

i love the way pennsylvania works penn st.

basically you could be on a campus 400 miles away, but thats still your football team on saturday.

im sure other states do it as well, but thats the only local one i can think of.
