Yes...for $20 tix it is. We are in the 3rd Deck but around the 30-40 yard line...maybe 10 rows up from the walkway.

I sent emails out last night to everyone seeking payment. If you didn't get an email check your Spam Folder or contact me via PM.

Paypal is saying to either charge you, or charge ourselves $3. So it's better to send a check?
Is that correct?

You're not doing it right...try sending it as a gift to friend or family member option...I think that works. A check is fine too.

"Usually Free - Sending money to friends and family is free for you and the recipient when you fund the transfer with your bank account or PayPal balance. You can also use a debit or credit card or make an international transfer for a small fee."

Thanks for the email, Mark. I'll get on it shortly.

I'll put my check in the mail tonight before I go on vacation for the 4th of July. Thanks again for organizing everything.

The wife and I are in (thanks Mark!). Looking forward to seeing all our friends in our neck of the woods - we can even help set up the tailgate for a change! :)

If anyone is coming down early or staying late, we can probably do a pre/post game BBQ at our place - just let me know if you're interested.

Which email of mine did you send it to?

Didn't get the email... PM forthcoming.

No email for me either. PM in your Inbox

Update:
Our Parking Lot will be a 10-12 minute walk to the stadium. We are located off Knox Rd in a Black Cash Lot. Look at your 9 o'clock position on the attached PDF. Lot is labeled MV.
I came across this website and saw this topic. The MV lot you refer to is only a driving lane with perpendicular parking on each side. It's blocked in by a parking garage to the south and building construction to the north. Access roads are to the east and the west.

Imo, the Comcast Center is better suited for tailgating. You can Google both sites. The MV lot is off Mowatt Lane, whereas the Comcast Center is on Paint Branch Drive.

Thanks...I'll talk to Maryland and see if there is a better lot. We are at their mercy. The big advantage is they are basically reserving a lot for us without prepaying.

Looking at Google, it looks like that lot has about 70 parking spots, and as was stated by NJ2MDdude, a straight drive thru the middle, with parking on either side. Mark, you might want to look at how many parking passes you had requests for. It doesn't seem like a lot of room to set things up. I've never been to the groups tailgate, so I'm not sure how much you need, but that is my info and thoughts.

Tix are all sold...I have 1 Tix in reserve which I'm going to hold. If anyone overbought let me know ASAP as I can find you a buyer. I'd like to get the seating chart done over next weekend (Aug 17-18) and mail the tix soon after. I hope everyone can get their MD tix by Labor Day.

Thanks as always, Mark. Your efforts on behalf of us are appreciated greatly!

First the Good News: I have almost all of the money collected. About $800 still outstanding. I have a nice little kitty for a tailgate starter. Demand has been good for tix. I just bought a final batch of 10 tickets. I have about 6-8 tix left. New folks contact me if you need more tix. They are $25 a piece. Let me know here or via PM how many you need. Maryland will be mailing me the tix next week. I will mail them via Priority Mail as soon as we make a decision on the tailgate...see below:

Now the Bad News: As some of you know my son is attending USAF Pilot Training. His graduation date has recently changed to Friday Evening Nov 8th. I can't attend the game now.
Although I'll be very happy if he stays on track and graduates...so not all bad news.

Group Tailgate??? What I need is a corps of volunteers who can buy beer, soda, coneys, plates. Most of the items will need to be bought within about 24-48 hours for the best weather forecast. I'll also need equipment brought in: Canopies, weight plates for canopies, folding tables, etc... If it looks like rain and/or high winds we'll cut the order back. Any money not spent will be sent to SU as a donation for the IPF. I'll also need equipment brought in: Canopies, weight plates for canopies, folding tables, etc...Finally, I need one guy willing to be the Tailgate Commander and take over responsibility. I'll forward a large amount of money to you via PayPal (approx $750). You'll make the call on what to get and will reimburse folks buying items.

If I don't get a good response (via PM or Email) I'll refund money to folks when I mail the tix and everyone is on your own. I'll refund via PayPal if you paid me with PayPal or send you a check if you paid by check. The checks will be in with the tickets. I'll make a final decision Friday, August 16th.

Mark - First off, congrats on your son's accomplishment! Good for him!

If you haven't had someone step up to be Tailgate Commander, let me know and Ellen and I can help out. If someone is already designated and they need some assistance we'll be happy to help :)

Tickets arrived. Please review your ticket requirements. I have 2 tickets I'm holding in reserve. I received 210 tickets and 70 placards for parking. You bring the placard and pay the attendant $15 on game day. MD Ticket office has been great. Hats off to them.

If you have any tickets you don't need let me know...I can probably get them sold for you. I have several folks looking.

Not sure when I'm going to send out...I have to build a seating chart, address envelopes and bring 50 envelopes to mail via Priority.

It goes without saying if your address changed please email or PM me, ASAP.
