Fire the guy running the clock at half

Ron Cherry is the worst. He wound the clock while the back judge was still over the ball.

Was impossible for a spike to occur. 3 seconds needs to be on the clock per the rule.

Glad somebody listened to the rule. I don't blame Hunt (or the staff for not knowing /recognizing that fact in the mayhem of it) but damn giving up the 10 seconds earlier, and throwing that stupid 5 yard pass to start the drive was freaking ed

How do u not leave 1 second on there, syracuse is the home team for Christ sake.

Ahhh. Right, that's the rule. Would have loved to have those 5 secs back when our qb was trying to call a time out we didn't have. #teamleader

As someone stated above, the rulebook dictates that the clock runs to zero if the ball is spiked with less than 3 seconds on clock. This had nothing to do with clock operator.

Or perhaps the timeout when we apparently didn't know the 2nd quarter was about to start.

Or when hunt stood there begging for a play before the Lewis drop

How about the tos we tried to call the play AFTER when hunt tried to call the non existent to.

How does our QB not know we are out of TO's? Total confusion and chaos. Reflects on the coaching staff which too often is confused.
