Wegmans from the north and Publix from the south. Pretty soon every corner will have the same grocery stores, banks, drug stores and fast food joints.
Won't be able to tell one city from the next.
Wonder if they'll carry Genny Cream Ale.
But in Albany it's still crickets. :bang:
Love to see one make it to the Charlotte area soon.
I guess privately held companies can get away with that.Believe the agreement between Price Chopper and Wegmans is still in effect.

They are upgrading them with a new Market 32 concept. Trying to copy Wegman's as much as possible. Still not close though.Price choppers are so dumpy now it's hard for me to believe I actually thought they were nice before. My mom used to go to the one in Watervliet. Disgusting.

I'm not obsessed but once you live near a Wegman's for a bunch of years and then move away you do find you miss it. It's head and shoulders better than anything else. Not cheaper, but better.Wegmans is obviously a very nice grocery store, but I kind of find people's obsession with it a bit much.
YupIs that one where the church used to be?
