first year coach. set the tone

I really hope we run some good offensive sets. Im only scared that we end up like Washington and Hop. We need good offensive plays but also ability to do what we have been for decades. Hoping Red can make this offense do both well.

I'm hoping/optimistic that Autry uses this opportunity to be an offensive innovator and try new outside-the-SU-box things that perhaps he was hesitant to suggest with JB who was extremely set in his ways over the past decade.

I sure hope Red sees this thread before the season starts. Otherwise, he will probably lose the locker room right away.
I may have missed something. Why would Red lose the locker room right away if he doesn't see this thread? Are the players out of control?

?? JB always had summer workouts usually starting the beginning of July when summer classes started. Weight training, running, drills, scrimmaging, etc. June was for decompressing, visiting family, rehabbing injuries, etc. Although many players would stick around in June too.
That’s pretty much the bare minimum for summer sessions though

"Losing the locker room" is a theme that comes up on this forum during almost every SU sports season.
And yes, I was very much being sarcastic.

A good point guard doesn't just wing it on offense they usually have sets that they run depending on the defense.
