If that's really the case, and it would be nice if it was, he should stop going to the media unless there is something material to the case and news worthy. This spat is not and it's undermining any credibility this investigation might hope to have. This nonsense is hurting the public image of the cry, community, and the Unversity; not to mention will have negative impact on the perceived legitimacy of the outcome for Bernie.

And that the 60-year-old DA who likes his job isn't blinded by "personal ambition" or some quest for higher office. Boeheim's not Paterno and, to mix my metaphors, Fitzpatrick's not Mike Nifong.

I don't like the guy. In my estimation he's a publicity grabbing egomaniac.

I've heard him in the past on local talk radio totally disparaging indicted people before they've had their day in court. Not classy.

Those two cases you cited were slam dunks..he headed the in courtroom prosecution because he knew the cameras would be on and any idiot could get a conviction.

But...I've said it before, he has been a friend of SU and the athletic program.
