The Flagrant 1 review is ridiculous. How do you reconcile a play where you call a foul on a defender and then go to the tape and assess a flagrant 1 against the offensive player?
They really need to tighten up the rule. Maybe, if you go to the review and decide that the recipient of the common foul was assaulted with a flagrant 1 you should be allowed to wipe off the common foul.
Or if you are a Duke defender and you insist on sticking your face within an inch of a guy’s elbow you clean up the blood and play on.
