Flashbacks of Edelin

vs. Chris Thomas in yesterday's game watching Kadary back Cone to the basket. He bullied Bede a bit too!
Also flashbacks of MCW and Triche posting up and bullying those puny little Indiana guards Farrell and Hulls in the Sweet 16. They scored on them at will on the first few possessions and I knew the Hoosiers were in for a very long day.

I was at that game. Two trips down court and I knew it was over because the IU guards looked like they had PTSD playing against our zone.

Just like Oklahoma in 2003.

The defense against Indiana and then Marquette in that tourney was just incredible.

Billy was an elite finisher. Kadary is not close yet nor may never get to that level

Kadary is more athletic than Billy with much better ups.
I see where you are coming from but I am not sure athletic is quite the right word. Kadary has more length than Billy allowing him to do a few things more efficiently, but it also puts him at a disadvantage when handling the rock. Time will tell if Kadary equals or surpasses Billy in our minds, but I believe he has all the tools to do it.

Kadary is the best guard we have had since Jonny Flynn. His upside is through the stratosphere.
I mean anything is possible. But I need to see wayyyyyyyyyy more before I put him ahead of Waiters and MCW who have played almost a decade in the NBA. Gbinije also was an exceptional college player.

Kadary game has some Lazarus ( Z ) Sims traits to it.
As someone pointed out Kadary is more athletic than Edlin, faster. Billy just "knew" where he was going and got his floater when he got there, K isn't there yet. Z was a better passer than both of them. I was always convinced that it took until his sr year for the other guys on the team catch up to his passing abilty! Not the other way around.
