Late game situations - a really close call with some contact but not egregious - ain't nothing wrong with a no call.

Make a smarter play then and don't put it into the hands of the refs.

My problem with that is that the way things are officiated the smart play is a passive one. Being aggressive trying to make plays is dumb.

I'm tired of the subjectivity. Refs let sh/tloads of contact go in aggressively defended games, and then call touch fouls on the way to the basket where there's barely any contact. They reward flopping. They anticipate calls. They determine game outcomes in close games that deserve to be determined by the players. It's tiresome.

Completely agree with this. The way the game is called more coaches should play the physical defense that refs seem to reward. It's why I couldn't root for UVA because their defensive tactics rely completely on being physical with the other team. It's like we are watching the Riley Knicks era all over again in the college game.
