Florida

What's the story there?
Well, there were reports of tension between Addazio and Meyer, and it would be hard to believe a tenured AD would p!ss off their fan base by making a very unpopular hire - he was not well-liked as an OC.

That has to be the most points ever scored with 112 yards of offense right? Has to be.

29 direct points by D and ST. Not sure how much of the other 13 pts were short field off a turnover.
my stats only go back for all teams to 1983, i can find no other games where someone allowed under 150 yds and over 40 pts.

Would love to see how he would handle SEC boosters/recruits.
lol, me too. That's why I would love to see this happen. But in all seriousness if/when the Bills let him go I think Doug in the SEC is a good fit. He will have his strong fan base backing, his facilities, and would be dealing with elite college players for the most part. I think he would have a lot of success at an SEC school all joking aside

Gator fans/alumni are probably more demanding than Bills fans.
Could you imagine the reaction the first time that DM calls for the punt team on a 4th and 1 at the 33 yard line?

Plus they don't have to worry about that pesky salary cap thing.

Jeremy Foley has only gone 1 for 3 hiring football coaches at Florida. Home run with Urban Meyer but not so much with Muschamp and the Zooker, To be fair, I thought Muschamp was a really good hire at the time. I'm not sure many people thought the Zooker was a great idea.

He's not in any danger of getting fired with the success of basketball and the success of the Meyer era but he better get it right this time.

only 2 teams have lost in 10 years allowing less than 150.. both times it was FL under muschamp

Yup. Unreal

People forget that Marrone coached in the SEC before and he was voted as one of the top recruiters in the SEC by his peers when he was an assistant.

I remember Beamer saying that Pasqualoni "did it the right way" (regarding recruiting) after he took Vick from SU.

He absolutely would. Florida is a far better job than BC. At UF you have a chance to get elite talent and win a National Championship. That can't happen at BC.

Another name to watch there...Doug Marrone. If (when) the Bills fail to make the playoffs and when the new owner fires him. If UF came calling Doug would be a perfect fit for the SEC with his attitude.
I would like 3 of whatever drug you are taking.
