Great Get FLJ!

Jaleesa Molina, a 6-foot-3 forward, has joined the Syracuse women's basketball team. Molina spent the previous three seasons at Temple and brings proven production and international experience to the Orange.

"We are thrilled to welcome Jaleesa Molina to our Orange family," Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack said."Her versatility is endless — she runs the floor exceptionally well, can knock down the three and gets to the nail for the pull-up jumper. More exciting than her basketball ability is her character, which is exemplary. Jaleesa is a perfect fit for our CAB Culture. Orange Nation, please help me welcome Jaleesa to our family!"

In three seasons at Temple she totaled 635 points, 510 rebounds, 124 steals, 86 assists and 44 blocks. Molina earned her most productive season in 2025-26, appearing in 31 games with 30 starts while logging nine double-doubles. She posted career highs of 20 points and four steals against Tulane, blocked a career-best three shots in the same contest, and dished out a career-high six assists against VCU while averaging 9.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. In 2024-25, Molina played and started all 31 games, averaging 7.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per game while shooting 52.5 percent from the field. She led her team in double-doubles with eight, including three back-to-back double-double performances during the season.

Might not be the Wow factor, but this is a solid pick up that can help the front court which really only currently consists of Izoje, Rambus and Scott (players that likely can and will play at the 4 and/or 5 spots) next season. Doesn't address the biggest need currently (shooting guards/wings) but still fills a spot on a roster in need of several players with a player with 3 years of college experience that averaged 10 and 7 last year.

I like her, 10 points, 7 rebounds per game is nothing to laugh at. No doubt, she can help our front court. We are in desperate need of strong perimeter player at the 2 and 3 positions that can shoot from 3. Interior scoring, defensive / offensive rebounding, and rim protection is nice, but, we need some wing players who can run and shoot.

This looks like a good pickup. Other than losing Sophie it seems the pickups so far are upgrades to the players that transferred out. Coach got bigs to pair with Izoje. I’m sure they’re looking for guard and sf. A couple of 3 point shooters.

If Darius is able to return there will be room for four more players.
