Football board is delusional

In all fairness, those of us who have watched both teams this year, didn't want to get pilloried earlier this week for suggesting that Syracuse wasn't ready for Clemson. I did comment that there were too many people drinking the Kool Aid.
While it would have been nice for Syracuse to have looked competitive, it just wasn't going to happen with the difference in athletes and their depth.
Thankfully, my friends who are Clemson fans were very kind this week when there was any suggestion that this might be a close game.
As AlaskaSU suggests, it will be just the opposite for the same reasons when their BB team comes to the Dome.

I still do not know the score. I had a different reaction than those that thought we were going to win - home court, new QB etc. We were facing mostly seasoned 4 star players. I thought that the crowd would be a non-factor because it would be silenced and I was concerned that the National TV would be negative publicity. I hope that new attendees are not put off.

I hope the team is successful. The clearest route to improvement is through recruiting and we only have one option. We have to find diamonds in the rough. You have to take baby steps before you walk with the four stars. We have like one or two 3 stars in the next incoming class? I worry that a coach that could not see that Hunt is the better QB is the right man to find diamonds in the rough, but when i posted my opinion on the football board the post was not allowed. Thank God for JB and his uncanny ability to judge talent, (second only to Scout Igor).

Clemson was very respectful to us despite our football board bravado. We need to remember that when we crush them in basketball.
