FYI, the football recruiting database is up (we also have one for basketball). You can access it using the recruiting database and commits links under the Additional Content dropdown from the football board.

Still have some work to do on it but thought you might want to check it out.

These are players who have identified Syracuse as a school of interest.

Suggestion: Add a column to say who the player verbaled to. For example, Jarron Jones is listed as "verbal" but you won't know that it's ND until you click through to his profile. Can get confusing when the database grows and recruits go other places.

First of all Thanks sutomcat and staff for this feature as it is certainly helpful. Keep up the good work.

Now,...as I was navigating through the Recruit Database and came up to Justin Thomason profile I noticed video links and decided to check them out. There is one there for a kid named Josh Shockley who caught my eye.

Though he looks apart becuase he doesn't have your prototypical LB measurables...he is a player.! Kid is tough, seems to have a nose for the football and can be a punishing tackler with big hits. Now I believe he is only a sophomore but I think is worth taking a look at as a prospect. The talent is obviously there, I am wondering what you guys tought????

Quick observation...Wayne Morgan is listed as a 5 star in the database. He was a 3 star at Scout and Rivals, and a 4 star at ESPN last time I checked anyway. I would prefer "your" star ranking. Regardless, this type of information is very much appreciated and I can only imagine how much time and effort you have invested. Thank you.

Good suggestion. I am planning on adding columns for whether SU offered and who the player is currently verbaled to on the main player listing. Also plan on providing a way to filter things so you can limit the view to only SU has offered.

Appreciate it. If it's too much trouble don't worry about it but seems that ESPN has stepped up their recruiting coverage and don't leave the grey area if they've rated a prospect or not. If a guy is listed as a 40 or 45 on their site they haven't seen them. 2 Star on the other sites you really don't know if they're a 2 star or if they should be NR.

Thanks for taking the time to do this now I do not have to run all over the internet find.

One small suggestion can you make some of the columns sortable. So like if I click on Position it will group them all together or if I click on scout rating it will group all those together.

Some very good looking names in that early count of 2013 targets. Laray Smith is number one on my wish list. Like McFarlane and Morris, I like that we are continuing to chase explosive RBs that have the height to also make an impact at WR if they get beat out.
