Unfortunately there are always going to be people that think that because they spent $$ on a ticket, it's a license to do and say whatever the hell they want because they are a "customer". Never understood it and probably never will.

This attitude is prevalent from retail to restaurants as well. Never understood it either and it makes me sick.

Grown adults acting like children is ok with you? Waiting to yell at a coach because you "the fan" isn't happy with how your team is doing? That's grade school stuff right there. I bet folks like that also tried to beat up the midget coaches when their kid didn't get to play. STUPID

I think that quote gives the impression that certain members of the staff are out but HCSS might have some wiggle room assuming he goes along with the changes. If I were Fred Reed I'd be packing my bags.

The worst part about coaching high school football, every parent thinks that they have a significantly greater amount of knowledge about football than the coaching staff. Furthermore, they have the ability to access you on a regular basis to let you know just that. It gets worse by the year.

One of the greatest things about coaching collegiately is you don't really have to deal with any of that, from parents and fans alike. Occassionally you might have discussions with parents about one thing or another, but, it's not necessary and it's strictly your choice.

Idiots are going to be idiots, that's why they voice their opinion to the coaching staff at halftime of major college football games when the staff is forced to walk through them. Unfortunately, this is a Syracuse problem because they didn't have the foresight to prepare for this type of thing. It's mind boggling, and quite franklly dangerous, that either staff is subjected to this.
