Football strategy if you score to go up 7 or 15

Shouldn’t coaches go for 2 in those situations more.
Going up an additional score is worth the gamble of going for 2.
I don’t get why teams don’t do this more.

Yes, yes, and yes. If you go up 7, go for two and take a shot at going up 9. The other team will not go for 2 if they are down 7 when they score.

Philly coach did this Thursday night. Didn't convert but it was nice to see them try even though I'm a Packers fan.

disagree. If I am up 7 I want to know I am not one blown play from losing without ever seeing the ball again.
