For anyone looking to pick up Duke tickets today

I picked some up about an hour ago and it was Section 319 Row J. I feel bad for anyone looking for a seat tomorrow.
 
You can be at the game and then watch it again with your DVR. If we win. I never watch when we lose. Also pray god Time Warner doesn't whimiscally decide to erase it before you view it!
 
I think its interesting that about every decent seats is gone before most any of the general public gets a shot. I get the rewarding season ticket holders with first dibs, but they dont have to give people who cant afford to go to multiple games no shot. they should be creative and save a hundred and have a random draw or some kind of raffle..
 
On top of that, Alumni get first dibs on tickets today at 3.

Why? Their job is to sell the most tickets for the most money as soon as they can.

Then why dont they put the same effort into selling football tickets..

I understand the business model that doesnt make it fair, and it doesnt need to be its not about making me happy. There are far more people who want to see bball than decent tickets..

I think in some ways they have it backwards. there are 20-25K + of decent bball tickets. You could let the people with the best seats get dibs on some of the lesser seats and still sell the better seats left for probably even more..

I wished I lived closer to getting season tickets made sense.. its going to be tough for the next few years to get to some of the bigger games now with any kind of decent seat..

thats great for the program not for the fans..
 
Duke game unavailable anymore for Preseason Season Ticket Holders sale. Still available in Pick Six package.
 
Going to be a huge crowd for the game and glad those who were looking for tickets got them. In the same token if you don't have tickets at this point your better offer watching at home versus the opposit endzone of the court.

LOL, careful someone will miss the sarcasam of this point and re-start that argument again. The long time season ticket holders deserved to get to see Duke in there seats, I think SU made the right decision.

Most of those are in the opposite end zone corner, have they sold those before?

So what is the cap going to be on attendance, has that been determined yet?

Ok, I will bite... disagree. They still get to see Indiana, UNC, Nova and all the rest from their usual seats... this is ONE game, and we wil play Duke at home every other year. obviously they would have been given top choice of seats in the reconfigured Dome for the Duke game. it would have been an amazing thing to see. Oh well. Didnt happen, and now we have fans who havent even been able to buy tix for the game until now, stuck viewing with binoculars.

I have football season tix in 323, and i cant imagine watching a hoops game from there. Thats crazy. I usually watch the big screen near me when the action is inside the 5yd line on the other side.

If your a fan who hasnt been able to buy tix until now why would you even consider buy tickets for those sections you listed. That is insanity.

When we have had 33k+, we have gone around the corner. To where those tix available now are it's probably 31k maybe a little more.

That is me. I live in NYC so I don't have season tickets. Was planning on going to maybe 2 games in the dome this year. After seeing the above posts and just imagining what the prices will be like on stubhub, looks like i'll be watching this one from my apartment.

It really is insane, agreed. But they will sell out...
 
It's pretty crappy people buy these tickets and immediately put them on Stubhub to make a profit. I have been refreshing stub hub all morning and the amount of tickets on the site keep increasing. I'm sure season some season ticket holders who didn't want the court moved are the ones doing this to.
 
The novelty of the Duke game will wear off in a few years and tickets will be a little easier to get.
