Welcome to Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day originated as a Western Christian feast day honoring an early Saint named Valentine. It is still an official feast in some denominations, although the day was removed from the Catholic General Roman Calendar because not much information was known about the Saint. The day is now also a cultural and commercial holiday centered around romance and love. It is celebrated in many places around the globe, although it is not a public holiday. Symbols associated with the day are the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of a winged Cupid.

Opponent Preview: What to know about No. 23 NC State (DO; Smith)

Syracuse returns from its bye weekend to face No. 23 NC State on Tuesday night, with the Orange six days removed from a nine-point win at Florida State. SU improved to 15-10 with the victory, but is still far removed from the NCAA Tournament bubble and in desperate need of quality wins.

The Wolfpack, who are fifth in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings and have beaten conference heavyweights Miami and Duke this season, certainly provide Syracuse with an opportunity for a key win. NC State is coming off a 30-point drubbing of Boston College on Saturday, and has won five of its last six games.

Here’s everything to know about NC State before Tuesday night’s matchup:

All-time series

Syracuse leads, 11-6.

Last time they played

Syracuse traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina, last February, coming out on top 89-82. Jesse Edwards and Cole Swider each notched 19 points, and SU finished the game on a 6-0 run to seal the victory. The Orange got all of their scoring production from the starting five, with Joe Girard III scoring 18 points, Buddy Boeheim adding 17 and Jimmy Boeheim 16. Syracuse’s three bench players combined to play 20 minutes, and didn’t tally a point.

NC State’s Terquavion Smith knocked down seven 3-pointers, and registered a game-high 25 points. Dereon Seabron added 17 points, including two free throws late in the second half that got the Wolfpack within one point. But Swider then delivered a 3 from the left wing and NC State proceeded to miss its next five shots.

Syracuse recorded one of its best shooting games of the season, hitting over 59% of its shots from the field and 11-of-19 3-point attempts. The win was the second of a four-game streak for SU that eventually ended with a 12-point loss at Virginia Tech 10 days later.

KenPom odds

NC State has a 55% chance of winning, with a projected score of 75-74.

The Wolfpack report

Smith is again leading this year’s NC State team, averaging 18.5 points per game, which is good for second-best in the ACC. He also leads the Wolfpack in assists (4.6 per game) and steals (1.6), and ranks 66th nationally, per KenPom, in percentage of possessions used at 29.2%.

Like it displayed last year against Syracuse, NC State has one of the top offenses in the ACC, leading the league with nearly 79 points per game. The Wolfpack are top-40 nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency, and have scored 90 or more points in six games this year, including on Saturday against Boston College.

NC State has three other double-digit scorers, including senior guard Jarkel Joiner, who dropped in 26 points against the Eagles. Guard Casey Morsell (12.8 points per game) and forward D.J. Burns Jr. (11.9) are also threats, and Burns is the team’s leading rebounder at five per game. The Wolfpack rank third in the ACC in rebounds per game, and second in offensive rebounds at 11.6 per game.

How Syracuse beats NC State

Syracuse got strong performances from its main three scorers — Girard, Edwards and Judah Mintz — against Florida State, and that’s something that will have to continue on Tuesday night. SU hasn’t really played in any high-scoring games outside of Pitt in December and Miami in-mid January, but this contest against NC State could be one that needs more buckets than usual. If that’s the case, the Orange will need Girard to be on with his outside shot, and can’t afford for Edwards to turn in a poor performance like he has in several important games this season.
...

Our beat writers agree that No. 23 NC State will be too much for Syracuse (DO; BB Staff)

Judah Mintz’s performances down the stretch helped Syracuse put away two weak conference opponents in Boston College and Florida State, getting the Orange back into rhythm before the finality of the regular season. Now, the Orange face NC State for the first and only time this season before Duke travels to the JMA Wireless Dome this upcoming Saturday.

The Wolfpack are running through Atlantic Coast Conference opponents after going 4-16 in conference play last season, winning five of their last seven games. Terquavion Smith has transformed the offense into the second-best in the ACC, one that averages 78.9 points per game.

Here’s what our beat writers expect to happen when Syracuse faces NC State:

Anish Vasudevan (20-5)
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
NC State 82, Syracuse 78

The Orange have had close encounter after close encounter with the ACC’s best. But they haven’t discovered how to defeat any of the conference’s top teams. After finishing with the worst record in the ACC last season, the Wolfpack have maintained a spot in the top 5 of the conference rankings this year.

Smith leads the conference in field goals made this year and scored 25 points against the Orange last season. He’s going to be an issue for SU again, and even if he’s stopped, Jarkel Joiner could be as lethal as Smith from the field.

Syracuse will keep it close, but Smith will likely take over the game late and go head to head with Mintz and Joe Girard III offensively. If Jesse Edwards can string together a second straight double-double, and not get into foul trouble, he could help SU near the end as well. Still, it probably won’t be enough and Syracuse will keep looking in from the mediocrity of the ACC for another week.

Connor Smith (22-3)
Not enough D
NC State 80, Syracuse 73

Syracuse had a chance to pick up two wins over struggling ACC programs — and was able to do that — before getting a six-day layoff in preparation of a four-game gauntlet that includes No. 22 NC State, Duke, Clemson and Pitt. KenPom predicts that SU will lose each of those games, though none by more than seven points. The Orange have been in “must-win” territory for a while now, and a few upsets during this stretch could help them get to 20 wins and closer to the NCAA Tournament bubble.

The problem is that NC State is a good team, one that can score with anyone and rarely turns the ball over. The Wolfpack have scored 90 or more points in six games this season, including on Saturday in a 30-point win over Boston College and lead the ACC in points per game. Syracuse’s defense has been playing better as of late — giving up fewer than 70 points in each of its past three games — but NC State, specifically Smith, pose a serious threat to that streak. Smith is second in the conference in scoring, and drilled seven 3-pointers against SU last season. The zone has certainly improved during ACC play, but I just see the Wolfpack shooting too well, scoring too much, too often, for the Orange to keep up.

In one season, NC State has risen from ACC cellar to its upper tier; Wolfpack visits Syracuse Tuesday (PS; $; Ditota)

After 26 games last season, North Carolina State was 10-16.

Its most dynamic player was Terquavion Smith, a freshman guard. Casey Morsell, a transfer from Virginia, was making the transition from one unique college basketball system to another. Its imposing big man, the 6-foot-11 Manny Bates, played all of one game before a shoulder injury sidelined him for the rest of the season.

The Wolfpack finished 11-21 last season, 4-16 in the ACC.

It’s now 2023. And NC State is 20-6, 10-5 and ranked No. 22 by the Associated Press. The Wolfpack heads to Syracuse Tuesday as an ACC contender.

NC State, primarily, kept Terq Smith, who flirted with leaving early for the NBA and returned for his sophomore season. Smith averages a team-best 18.5 points and 4.6 assists. He’s also grabbing 3.3 rebounds per game.

He has already eclipsed 1,000 career points 26 games into his sophomore season.

Keeping Smith was an obvious key for NC State. But Kevin Keatts, too, brought in impactful transfers in big man DJ Burns (Winthrop) and guard Jarkel Joiner (Mississippi).

Burns, at 6-9, 275, is an immovable object in the middle who contributes 12.2 points (15.3 in ACC-only games) and 5.3 rebounds in 22.2 minutes. Joiner averages 16.2 points and shoots 35% from the 3-point line. Keatts described Morsell (12.9 points, 45% from 3 on 149 attempts) as his steadiest player this season.

“These guys do all the heavy lifting. As coaches, obviously, we try to put players in the right spots,” Keatts said. “I was just happy to see those guys smile because of the accomplishments that they had. Getting to mid-February with 10 (ACC) wins and 20 overall wins, I think that’s special for those guys.”

Syracuse hoping to slow down No. 23 NC State (cbssports.com; FLM)

NC State just finished its first week in the Top 25 since 2019.

After a loss to a top-10 team (Virginia) and a blowout of a struggling squad (Boston College), the 23rd-ranked Wolfpack next face a team somewhere in between when they travel to Syracuse on Tuesday in an Atlantic Coast Conference contest.

NC State (20-6, 10-5 ACC) has won nine of its last 11 games, including Saturday's 30-point rout at Boston College. Terquavion Smith reached 1,000 career points as part of a 17-point performance, but he did not even realize until after the game that he had achieved the milestone.

"He scores so much, he doesn't even worry about how many points. I mean, as far as he knows, he might have had 1,000 six games ago," coach Kevin Keatts said. "But you're talking about a good kid who has given everything he could to NC State."

Jarkel Joiner led the Wolfpack with 26 points after struggling to the tune of 10 combined points on 3-of-20 shooting over his previous two contests.

"We know what Jarkel is capable of," Keatts said. "It was so good to see him bounce back."

DJ Burns Jr., who had 18 points and 10 rebounds against the Eagles, is another player Syracuse (15-10, 8-6) will have to keep an eye on Tuesday.

The Orange gave up a double-double to Florida State's Matthew Cleveland (19 points, 12 boards) on Wednesday but held on to secure a 76-67 defeat, thanks in part to their own double-double machine.

Jesse Edwards registered 18 points and 12 rebounds for Syracuse, raising his season averages to 14.2 points and 10.2 rebounds. The Orange center had not posted a double-double in any of his previous five games.

"In games and in life, you just have to keep plugging away," coach Jim Boeheim said.

Buffalo Bills’ Damar Hamlin to attend Syracuse-Duke basketball game (PS; Herbert)

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin will attend Syracuse basketball’s upcoming game against Duke University.

SU superfan Adam Weitsman announced late Monday that Hamlin would be his guest for the Saturday, Feb. 18, basketball game at Syracuse University’s JMA Wireless Dome. Weitsman and his guests sit courtside, near head coach Jim Boeheim and the Orange bench.

“My final guest at the Dome Feb. 18th in Syracuse against rival @dukembb will be personally, my most special one,” Weitsman wrote on Instagram. “Huge inspiration to me and everyone else in the #315 and around the world.”

Hamlin, 24, went into cardiac arrest and needed to be resuscitated on the field during a “Monday Night Football” game against the Cincinnati Bengals last month. The game was canceled and he spent more than a week in the hospital, gaining support from football fans nationwide.

He appeared at the Super Bowl on Sunday, days after receiving the NFLPA’s Alan Page Community Award in Phoenix. The award recognizes a player who goes above and beyond to perform community service; his toy drive foundation received $100,000 from the NFL, adding to the more than $9 million raised in GoFundMe donations since his collapse.

“One of my favorite quotes: it’s a blessing to be a blessing,” Hamlin said. “With that being said, I plan to never take this position for granted and always have an urgent approach to making a difference in the community where I come from and also communities across the world.”

Syracuse basketball vs. No. 23 N.C. State odds, prediction, how to watch (itlh; Adler)

Syracuse basketball has won two games in a row, both on the road, and the Orange didn’t have an Atlantic Coast Conference battle this past weekend.

So with some extended time off to practice and rest, the ‘Cuse is now set to host top-25 N.C. State on Tuesday evening in a key league clash for the Orange.

In its past two contests, Syracuse basketball (15-10, 8-6 in the ACC) defeated Boston College and then Florida State, with each victory coming on the road and by nine points.

The Wolfpack (20-6, 10-5), meanwhile, has captured five triumphs over its last six encounters, with its only loss during that stretch at highly rated Virginia.

In this week’s Associated Press top-25 poll, N.C. State checked in at No. 23 nationally.

This past Saturday afternoon, N.C. State absolutely destroyed Boston College by 30 points, on the road. In that win, the Wolfpack connected on a ridiculous 15-of-30 attempts from beyond the arc.

For the entirety of the 2022-23 stanza, N.C. State is a solid shooting squad from deep, but its last performance versus the Eagles was stellar.

The Orange’s zone defense had better be locked in and extremely active when the ‘Cuse and the Wolfpack go toe to toe on Valentine’s Day.

Syracuse Team Preview

Record: 17-7 (8-5)

KenPom Ranking: 88th (68th Offense, 120th Defense)

Recent Games: 76-67 W at Florida State, 77-68 W at Boston College, 67-62 L vs Virginia

Leading Scorers:

Sr. G Joseph Girard III (17.0 ppg, 3.2 apg, 3.0 rpg)
Fr. G Judah Mintz (15.4 ppg, 4.5 apg, 2.0 spg)
Sr. C Jesse Edwards (14.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 2.8 bpg)

Who would have thought that Duke, UNC, and Syracuse would have the same ACC record at this point in the season? The Orange have done a great job at taking care of business against the weaker teams in the ACC, but they've struggled against the better ones.

Syracuse’s big three of Joe Girard III, Judah Mintz, and Jesse Edwards is one of the best trios in the ACC. Girard III dropped 26 points and made five three-pointers against a Florida State team with a lot of size and length on the defensive end, while Edwards put up 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Mintz also had 16 points and 6 assists, capping off the productive day for the trifecta.

The problem with Syracuse is their inability to pull off a big win this season. They've had their chances, losing to Virginia, Miami (FL), North Carolina, and Pittsburgh all by five points or less.

Boeheim still seems to be playing around with his rotations quite a bit. Outside of the big three, almost every player’s minutes vary quite a bit depending on the matchup. In their last game against Florida State, freshman forward Chris Bell got 34 minutes of run after not playing more than 11 minutes in his previous three games. Meanwhile, freshmen Maliq Brown and Justin Taylor saw their minutes decrease dramatically, even though they both looked like they would be major players in the end of season rotation. Boeheim obviously likes deploying his various role players depending on the matchup, so be on the lookout for what he will do against NC State.

Syracuse men’s basketball: Early ACC Tournament bracket preview (TNIAAM; Szuba)

Welcome in, Syracuse Orange football fans!

The ACC Tournament is now just three weeks away as conference play is starting to wind down and conference standings are beginning to crystalize. Teams still have five or six conference games remaining—much can happen between now and Greensboro—but a solid top, middle and bottom has formed in the league that should hold through February.

If conference play ended today, here’s how the ACC Tournament field would look based on conference standings:

Screenshot_2023_02_13_at_7.23.16_AM.png
Pittsburgh would take the overall No. 1 seed despite being tied with Virginia at 11-3 in conference. The Panthers won the head-to-head meeting with the Cavaliers which gives them the top spot.

Syracuse is currently in a three way tie with tobacco road at 8-6 in the league, but would still be ninth based on seeding. Per ACC Tournament seeding rule 3.3.2.2. procedure 1C:

c. If three or more teams are tied in the standings, the following procedure will be used: 1) The combined record in conference games between the tied teams involved will be compiled. Ties will be broken and seeds assigned based on the winning percentage of the combined conference records. The higher winning percentage shall prevail, even if the number of games played against the team or group is unequal (e.g., 2-0 is better than 3-1; 1-0 is the same as 2-0; 2-0 is the same as 4-0; 2
That means Duke takes the No. 7 seed as the Blue Devils are 1-0 against the group (North Carolina) while North Carolina is 1-1 and Syracuse is 0-1.

Syracuse will be battling with the state of North Carolina as it relates to conference tournament seeding as Wake Forest is just a half game ahead of the Duke, North Carolina and Syracuse group and N.C. State is a game and a half up. Syracuse will play N.C. State and Duke this week and Wake Forest to end the conference season, all of which could have major conference tournament seeding implications. The Wolfpack has a game at Syracuse this week and still has to play North Carolina and at Duke.

Can anybody catch Virginia? And who should be on the All-ACC team? (theathletic.com; $; Marks)

One unanimous vote … and one that’s not even close.

Sounds like the ACC, alright.

With about three weeks left in the ACC regular season, the league title is still very much up for grabs; Virginia, Miami, NC State, Clemson and Pittsburgh all have at least 10 conference wins, and therefore some shot at winning the regular season. (Ah, yes. The preseason No. 3, 4, 10, 11, and 14 teams, vying for a title … just like we all expected.) Also still undecided? Which five players, amid such an uncertain league, will be named to the All-ACC first team.

To make sense of it all, The Athletic conducted its annual midseason media poll, soliciting responses from one beat reporter per ACC school. We asked the following two questions:

  1. Who wins the ACC regular season?
  2. Who is currently your five-man All-ACC team?
The first question was easy enough. All 15 respondents were in agreement: The ACC regular-season title runs through Charlottesville, with Virginia as the heavy favorite to win its fifth outright and sixth overall conference title since 2014-15. Our league experts agreed that the Cavaliers’ favorable late-season schedule — including two games against last-place Louisville, and another against 10-15 Notre Dame — puts Tony Bennett’s team in the driver’s seat.

And while several voters considered Miami — one of the league’s two other ranked teams — and even Pittsburgh, UVa more-than earned its unanimous nod.

As our Virginia correspondent, The Athletic’s Eamonn Brennan wrote: “Had the Hoos stumbled a couple more times already, you could have some fun with this and give a shout to Pittsburgh or Clemson. But the fact that Virginia is likewise at the top of the league, while also being the actual best and most well-rounded team in the conference (by a margin, too), makes it feel kind of silly to pick anyone else.”

https://www.si.com/college/georgiat...rnament-bracket-look-like-if-it-started-today (SI; Caudell)

We are less than one month away from the ACC Tournament in Greensboro, NC and the standings keep shuffling each week. Some big games are on deck for this weekend, starting tonight with Miami visiting North Carolina tonight and then a matchup between Duke and Syracuse later this week.

Here are the current ACC Standings at the start of this week.

Full ACC Basketball Standings

1. Pitt (11-3)

2. Virginia (11-3)

3. Miami (11-4)

4. Clemson (10-4)

5. NC State (10-5)

6. Wake Forest (9-6)

7. Duke (8-6)

8. North Carolina (8-6)

9. Syracuse (8-6)

10. Boston College (6-9)

11. Florida State (6-9)

12. Virginia Tech (5-9)

13. Notre Dame (2-12)

14. Georgia Tech (2-12)

15. Louisville (1-13)

As you can see at the top, there is a lot of competition to see who will be the top seed. Pitt and Virginia are all tied up at the top, with Miami close behind. Clemson was all alone at the top of the conference but is no longer there after their recent three-game losing streak. It is not the only spot in the standings that is up for grabs though. Duke, North Carolina, and Syracuse are tied at 8-6, with Wake Forest only a half-game ahead of them at 9-6.

Georgia Tech is currently in 14th place in the ACC standings
Georgia Tech Athletics
So would the ACC Tournament look like if it started today?

The first group of games would be held on March 7th and they would be between the teams 10-15 in the standings. Those games currently would be:

1. Boston College (10) vs Louisville (15)

2. Florida State (11) vs Georgia Tech (14)

3. Virginia Tech (12) vs Notre Dame (13)

Teams 5-9 receive a first-round bye and right now those teams are NC State, Wake Forest, Duke, North Carolina, and Syracuse. Here is how the second round would line up on March 8th:

1. North Carolina (8) vs Syracuse (9)

2. NC State (5) vs Virginia Tech/Notre Dame

3. Wake Forest (6) vs Florida State/Georgia Tech

4. Duke (7) vs Boston College/Louisville

Teams seeded 1-4 will get a "double-bye" and not have to play until Thursday. Those teams as of right now are Pitt, Virginia, Miami, and Clemson. Here is how the quarterfinals would line up:

1. Pitt (1) vs UNC/Syracuse

2. Virginia (2) vs Duke/Boston College/Louisville

3. Miami (3) vs Wake Forest/Florida State/Georgia Tech

4. Clemson (4) vs NC State/Virginia Tech/Notre Dame

These standings are going to be shuffled in the next few weeks leading up to the conference tournament and there is going to be competition at the top to get the double-bye and get the two extra days of rest. The ACC might be down as a conference this year as far as national contenders go, but the race down the stretch is going to be one to watch.

http://allsportsdiscussion.com/2023/02/13/how-far-can-acc-teams-go-in-march/ (ASD; JFann)

Some of the top teams in the ACC in 2023 have been traditional powers like Virginia, but also upstarts like Pittsburgh and Clemson.

While established programs like UNC and Duke have looked like top 10 teams one week and NIT one and doners in others.

There are other teams in the ACC that are on the rise and looking to make a deep run in the NCAA tournament like Pittsburgh and NC State.

College basketball is known for its parity and upsets, and there is always the possibility of a team making a surprise run to the top of the conference standings, and we’ve seen that in this year’s ACC too.

What are the chances of an ACC team making a deep NCAA Tournament run?

According to DraftKings the following are the odds for the top ACC Teams of winning the tournament:

Virginia + 2500

Miami + 8000

Pittsburgh- +15000

In case you are wondering, betting on the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, is only legal in states where sports betting is permitted. However, laws and regulations regarding NCAA tournament betting can vary by state, so it is important to check the legality of sports betting in your state. It is important to only use licensed and regulated sports betting platforms to ensure the safety of your funds and personal information.

With that said don’t let the ACC’s overall stats mislead you. The bottom of the ACC is dreadful with historically bad teams like Louisville, Georgia Tech, and Notre Dame. Florida State was horrible in the non-conference, but the 6-8 ACC teams that make the NCAA will be dangerous and their OOC results prove it. Remember who won the ACC/Big 10 Challenge? It wasn’t the Big 10 either.

Let’s take a look at the ACC’s top 4 teams that can reach the second weekend and beyond provided they make the Big Dance in some cases.

Virginia – They have the best coach in the league Tony Bennett, and an experienced PG Kihei Clark who already has a national title. They can play defense and shoot the 3. The Hoos have already beat Baylor, Illinois, and won at Michigan OOC. If an ACC team can get to the Final 4, it would be Virginia.

Miami – The Canes got to the elite 8 last year, and their elite guard play can dictate the tempo in most games they get into. They have 8 Q1/Q2 wins, and whole their defense may not be great it is no longer a liability.

More than 200 cars have been stolen in Rochester already this year. Is social media to blame? (PS; Hernandez)

Car thefts are spiking in Rochester, New York and some say TikTok and social media is to blame.

In January alone, more than 217 cars were stolen in the Western New York city, reported RochesterFirst.

Rochester Police Captain Brian Morone told City Council it’s largely due to a TikTok challenge that shows the ease of stealing Hyundais and Kias.

The “Kia Boyz” challenge, CBS 6 Albany reported, shows certain models of 2010-2021 vehicles by makers Kia and Hyundai that use a mechanical key for access instead of a key fob or push-to-start access. This design flaw has made them easy to steal in a matter of seconds.

On January 24, News 10 reported out of 169 cars that had been stolen in Rochester this year, 116 of them were either KIAs or Hyundais.

In one incident Rochester First reported four male teenagers ranging in age from 13-15 were in an already-stolen Hyundai Elantra, while trying to steal a Hyundai Tuscon. When officers arrived, the driver of the Elantra tried to get away and crashed into several parked cars. All suspects were detained.

The thieves are not just stealing the cars, taking them out on a joyride and abandoning them, they are sometimes then using them to commit further violent crimes. This included an incident where a suspect drove a stolen Hyundai drove to a Rochester city school and opened fire on a 16-year-old on the campus.

A rash of “smash-and-grab” robberies have also popped up around the city, where the thieves are using stolen cars as battering rams to try and get inside businesses and steal property. According to RochesterFirst, out of the five robbery attempts, four have been successful.

Challenges

Central New York had a shortage of large venues that could support regional public, private, and sponsored events. Recognizing this need, Syracuse University included a 744‑seat auditorium into their new 115,000‑square foot National Veterans Resource Center at the Daniel and Gayle D’Aniello Building. It was designed to support a wide range of activities, from a large lecture theater to a community or government agency event space. Similar to the other rooms within the center, the auditorium and its AV system had to be ADA compliant.

The AV system had to be flexible and dependable. System requirements included high-performance AV signal switching and routing, exceptional sound, intuitive system control, and remote management. Images and sound had to be crystal clear at each standard and bariatric seat. The space had to offer alternative ways to communicate with the vision and/or hearing impaired. To facilitate lectures and panel discussions, the stage needed to offer multiple points of AV connectivity and system control.

Design Solution

Syracuse University brought in Theatre Projects to design an innovative AV system that supported vibrant imagery and exceptional sound, all within ADA guidelines. Teamed with the university ITS Learning Environments and Media Production department, Theatre Projects selected XTP Systems®, along with audio and control systems from Extron.

The K. G. Tan Auditorium seats 744, with a two-tiered design that provides unrestricted visibility throughout the space. Multiple floor boxes on the stage provide AV connectivity and flexible placement for a portable lectern. Gooseneck and lavalier microphones are available for the instructor, presenter, or moderator and panelists alike. The main display is a videowall that is nearly 32' wide. Two smaller videowalls installed on either side of it are dedicated as secondary monitors. Located within this room are eight PTZ cameras that are for use with web-based video applications, including Blackboard™ Collaborate Ultra and Zoom®.

For the hearing impaired, the installation incorporates an Assisted Listening System and support for Communication Access Real‑time Translation - CART. The AV system enables captions to be displayed on either or both smaller videowalls.

The control center is located between the tiers at the back of the room. Multiple monitors and a bank of windows enable support staff visibility into the auditorium.
