ACC Unquestionably the Best Conference in College Basketball Entering 2014-15 (rantsports.com; Staff)
The ACC is one of the best conferences in college basketball on a yearly basis. With that said, the ACC will unquestionably be the best conference in the country entering the year.
Sure, the Big Ten, Pac-12, SEC, Big 12 and others will have plenty of talent, but it is the ACC that will have Duke, North Carolina, Syracuse and Louisville in the 2014-15 season.
Those four teams are no strangers to the top 10, and I am sure more than one of them will enter the season that way. Then, you can add Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and whoever else you would like in the mix. Fans cannot forget about the Virginia Cavaliers, who won the ACC regular season and tournament titles in 2013-14. The team brings back a solid group and could also find itself in the top 10 to start the season.
In terms of talent, national recognition, elite coaches and hype, the ACC will be stacked. It’s crazy to think Mike Krzyzewski, Jim Boeheim, Rick Pitino and Roy Williams will all be coaching in the same conference, but you better get used to it.

The University of Miami men’s basketball team completed a four-game sweep in Spain, defeating AEC Collblanc Torrassa, 116-64, Thursday night in Barcelona to wrap up the overseas tour.
Deandre Burnett and Sheldon McClellan each notched a team-high 23 points in the win, closely followed by 22 from Ja’Quan Newton and 18 from James Palmer. Manu Lecomte totaled six assists while McClellan added five steals. Tonye Jekiri led the war on the boards with 12 rebounds, while Ivan Cruz Uceda notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Miami hit the first bucket of the game, followed by a free throw from AEC, but the Canes took off on a 17-0 run to put the game away early. Miami led 33-11 after the first quarter, and 56-25 at the half.
