Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse will travel about 70 miles by bus Saturday morning en route to Kelly/Shorts Stadium for a noon kick at Central Michigan.

The team will get to bed a little earlier than usual and will dress in pants and pads before boarding the bus in Lansing, Mich. and traveling north an hour to Mount Pleasant...

Even Cutcliffe loses commits...2015 Keith Washington, a 6'2", 175 pound 3-star from Prattville, Alabama projected to be a DB in college, is decommitting from Duke. He committed on June 26. Florida State, Kentucky, Missouri and Southern Miss are now the leaders on Washington's list.

Last weekend, the Chippewas took down a Power Five opponent, Purdue. For the Orange to avoid the same fate, they'll need to hem in Rawls, who has rushed for more than 100 yards in each of the first two games. Syracuse, to the contrary, hasn't allowed an opposing player to rush for 100 yards in regulation during the Scott Shafer era. Maintaining that trend falls on an athletic line and senior outside linebackers Dyshawn Davis and Cameron Lynch.

Wake Forest officials this week announced the addition of the Top Hat Tavern at BB&T Field, which will "sell beer and wine to the general public at football games." There will be a "limit of three drinks per person." Soft drinks and water "also will be available" at the tavern.
