Connecticut MLB Zachary Kastenhuber Likes Orange, Harvard With Decision Close (PS; Bailey)
Syracuse landed a verbal commitment from one linebacker on Thursday, Aquinas (Rochester, N.Y.) Institute outside linebacker Taylor Riggins, and there's a good chance the Orange picks up another by the end of the weekend.
Choate (Wallingford, Conn.) Rosemary Hall middle linebacker Zachary Kastenhuber is high on SU after a recent unofficial visit and could make a decision as early as Friday, Choate head coach Lawrence Spinnato said on Thursday.
The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Kastenhuber is rated three stars by At their request, this network is being blocked from this site., the only major recruiting service to assign him a grade, and is likely choosing between Syracuse and Harvard, Spinnato said. Don Bosco (Ramsey, N.J.) Preparatory High School middle linebacker target Brandon Simon is also a possibility to join the group. He visits SU on Saturday and plans on announcing a commitment by Monday,
