I have attended every SU home football game (except one), stayed until the bitter end, and supported the kids win or lose. My one source of frustration was that I never felt the coaching staff's ever took advantage of our climate controlled football facility. Coach P & George D were happy with the freeze option/run, run, pass offense and GRob ran his bubble screen offense.
It was not until this past Saturday that I saw an SU football team take full advantage of the Dome. I love the zone read offense installed by Coach Marrone & Hackett which resulted in 44 completions and almost 600 yards in total offense.
While I was as disappointed as everyone else with the loss but I can't wait to see this offense over the next 11 games.
