when is the last game that Syracuse totaled:

450 yards -

500 yards -

550 yards -

600 yards -

600 - vatech 2002

wow

I was hesitant to put 600 because I didn't think we ever did - and to do it against VT is impressive

had over 600 that same year vs rhode island.

record is 675 vs. rutgers in 1992.

it's amazing how much we remember special games and forget about the rest (i'm guilty of it too). we remember senior year nunes as being so much better than any other year nunes. but really senior year nunes kinda stunk too when you look at the whole year.

I do remember you wanting to marry Nunes though.

Pretty interesting that the last 2 times we went over 500 yards was that boring run-run-pass-punt offense of P and D that everyone hated. They hit that total at least twice in 3 years (not that it's hall of fame or anything) yet we haven't hit it once in 7 years since. Probably doesn't help that the last game breaking running back we had was Reyes. That's not too say Carter and others aren't good. But Reyes could break it to the end zone at any time. Nobody since has seemed to be able to. Seems we used to get great RBs, now they are just good.
