Incredible turnaround in two years. At the end of 2015 SU was 119th on offense, 99th on defense, combined ranking was 121st out of 128 programs.

Reinforces what we saw in the game, that win was no fluke. A good team going toe to toe at home with a top program and making more plays on both sides of the ball to win.

I thought that SU's relative performance would decrease over the last three game but it has actually improved. 7 - 5 is on the table.

BTW, want to talk what a real What upset looks like, BC is 102nd on offense and 108th on defense.

Yeah, these are raw numbers which is impressive on its own. If they had an SOS adjustment factor, we’d go higher.

This is a good uncomplicated way of evaluating. We no longer have to come up with bad stories about how yards don't matter. The record might be goofy because of the schedule but the yards tell the story about where they're heading. They're only going to get better

If they keep this up, that's the profile of a solid 8, 9 win team. Probably tops out a 7 but who knows. Lville is imploding, Miami likes to play close games, and FSU has no offense.

I don't agree it's huge at all. They have some nice pieces on offense, but our skill players are better less the RB. Defense, we match up well at linebackers. The rest they may be ahead, but not by much.

Do you remember Memphis in 2002-3 Basketball? We were expecting great things and strode into the season overconfident. This football team needed Middle Tennessee to teach Dungey how to get away from a straight-ahead rush.

Maybe. I’m still thinking about their recruiting classes vs ours. We’ve certainly taken advantage of the talent we do have.

If Cuse somehow wins next week, the Clemson win goes from one-off fluke to official turnaround story in national perception.

Very impressive stats. We are a legit top 25-30 team IMO. I’m excited to see how the rest of this season plays out and even if it’s a letdown and we don’t make a bowl; I’ll be excited going into next year because I don’t foresee us taking big steps backwards anymore.
