but there also is a chance that auburn is terrible against the run, UL ran all over them and has 89 total against houston and clemson. maybe they only run for 250 not 400. and maybe the Qb throws for 75 like the first 2 games. maybe the QB throws for double and its 150 but he doesnt get 2 long passes and we make them earn everything.

if they run for 400 we lose, but if they run for 250 its doable if we can find some kind of offense

there is always a maybe

Miss st had 440 yds against LSU and almost 400 against an avg Southern Miss so maybe the LSU D is good not great . Auburn had 330 vs UL and 260 vs LSU and looked bad both games for long stretches.

there is always a maybe

I like your optimism. Unfortunately, if Austin Wilson/Zach Mahoney are playing QB for Syracuse on Saturday, we aren't going to be able to score enough to compete.

Even if SU stopped Fournette cold, Brandon Harris would still run rampant.
Hell, Harris might have a career passing day on Saturday.

My primary wish for Saturday is no injuries. Anything more is gravy.
With the length of time the SU defense is probably going to be on the field, those guys are going to be worn out.

The only "maybe" I see in this game is...Maybe we score?

Without Dungey the only probability that I see that we score is...we get a turnover in their territory close enough for us to kick a field goal...or we return a kick off close enough for our FG kicker to have a shot.

I don't expect that they'll be punting much.

Ugh to think we may be emabrrased on national tv like that Penn State game at home in the GROB era makes me sick. Im feeling bad for myself, but I cant believe we are going into this thing without our Best Qb, and our best offensive football player in Ishmael.
