Fournette: "Syracuse started Running Back U. It's a great tradition here, who wouldn't want to come

The young man has talent, confidence, humility, and a good heart. He will go far in life and not just because of football.

What many outside lsu dont know is his being called Buga, or buga nation. It is more than a name, it is an attitude and way of life. It stands for "being united generates attitude". He may be a star but he is an incredible team player.

What a class act. Love this kid it was so fun watching him play. I remember years ago. We had Tony D stopped until just before the half and boom 70 something yards and a TD. Only this guy is about 75 pounds bigger than Tony and faster. Off the chart great RB great kid

I pray that Les Miles takes care of this kid. He also needs to go down easier. That play at the end if the 3rd where he was gang tackled should never have happened... he was toast and should have given himself up.

He posted a picture last night I think on Instagram from the Dome and the 44 jersey in the rafters thanking Ernie Davis, little and Jim Brown for making it all possible for people like him. Absolute class act as is their coach ending the Game the way way he did. The future is bright gentlemen and ladies

Why did the certified Sportscenter handle just have to tweet this ?

@SportsCenter: Syracuse head coach Scott Shafer felt strongly about Leonard Fournette in this weekend's @Voya #BenchTalk. http://t.co/hK8AwBsg6j

Just reading the comments you can tell it was taken out of context. Just makes Syracuse look bad.

What was the context? That's a really strange quote lol.

The context was basically saying he wanted to shut down Fournette. Shafer is a DC at heart, of COURSE he wanted to shut down the best. It's getting so blown out of proportion it's absurd.

They even brought it up on Mike and Mike, with Greeny asking Golic if he had a problem with it, and Golic, as you'd probably expect from a defensive player, saying he had absolutely zero issue with it.
