I have zero expectation for him to try and poach any Georgia commits. Zero. But these are the Georgia cruits in our backyard and the type of kids I'd expect in the future will give us visits.

OT Marcus Harrison > 6-7 > 336 > St Francis, Buffalo
OT Nyier Daniels > 6-6 > 360 > Bergan Catholic
DL Jordan Thomas > 6-5 > 296 > Don Bosco
QB Ryan Puglisi > 6-3 > 205 > Old Avon Farms, CT

More likely he'll try to poach other teams recruits that he values.

I know him and Nunzio crossed over at Rutgers, I hope there’s mutual interest between them for Nunz to stay on. Think he’s an asset.

As far as I know they split up the state (NJ) for recruiting so I’d be very surprised if Nunz didn’t stay on. Assuming there was a positive relationship between them.

I prefer a guy who is apparently extremely affable and knows how programs and recruiting works at our level and higher to a guy with somewhat middling success at lower levels. No offense to chesney, but I think he'll need a coordinator job at the P5 level or a lower level FBS HC position first.

This is a big swing on a younger guy, hope it works out.

It was I imagine quite easy to recruit for Georgia , How hard will it be to recruit for Syracuse ?
And head coaches don't do most of the recruiting. They are the closers.

right, it remains the biggest pattern disconnect of my life, basing an impression from only from an online football message board, thinking this...then meeting the dude and thinking that. Impressive very cool person he was
Al’s a good guy. Met him at our tailgate once. He loves his Rutgers!

My single hope, is that he hires a GOOD oline coach. Addazio went .500 at BC because he KNEW that with lesser overall talent, you can develop an oline into competing with the best.

I'm not asking for meathead. I'm asking for the group that requires the most development, to be developed. X's and O's are irrelevant if they are not.

Saw Glen Thomas as possible OC candidate mentioned.
