That kid’s comments about what it’s like to end your playing career when you realize you’re likely not good enough to make it at the next level all hit home and was spot on

Agree, excellent spokesmen for their program - great representatives for WSU. I was surprised that nothing was really said nor asked about the game itself, their opponent etc. I can understand how emotional a time it was for them - it was an emotional time for our program too. WSU has to be reeling from the additional stress regarding conference realignment but our players too had huge adjustments, big decisions regarding coaching changes, NIL and transfer portal issues too. Those parts were common to SU at the end of last season. It’s what happens to WSU this upcoming year that will define them like it was for us.

It has to be tough for WSU. They got left behind in the conference realignment mess. It sucks for what happened to the PAC 10.
