I never got the whole "sky is falling" mentality with Frank's shot last year. His form wasn't all that bad. . . It wasn't a huge correction. I doubt he shoots the lights out all year obviously, but all the people saying he could never play PG for us effectively because he would never have to be guarded were bonkers.

I got it. When Boeheim criticizes a player, a good chunk of the fanbase wants to hop on that bandwagon. Hey, can't be wrong when you're parroting the Hall of Famer's take, right?

Frank won't shoot 1.000 or .100, but everyone who paid attention to the games noticed that his mechanics are fine. Coupled with his excellent vision, it was reasonable to think he'd be a good point guard last year. Glad he's realizing that potential as a starter with consistent minutes.
