Fran's Game 1 Press Conference | Tennessee

Yeah, that would make sense if it's required by ESPN.

I do know that university is looking under every stone for revenue streams. Not sure if this has been posted yet, but, as an example, they will extend beer/alcohol sales to the end of the 3rd quarter - but only at limited stands.
Then I will extend my drinking to help the cause

Brown heaped praise on Tennesse's quarterback Joey Aguilar along with the Vol's running back group and their talented receiving group.

"They're going to go fast." Brown when talking about Tennessee's offense and the dangers they present.

"Steve's ready to go. He's been like that since he was at Bergen Catholic." Brown on SU's starting quarterback Steve Angeli.

Brown says it's been cool coaching his son Fran Brown Jr., but it might not be as cool for him, because "he's on his butt" about certain things. Brown added that he hopes he has the same energy he has when he was six (the last time he coached him).

"Orange is Orange. My guys are going to be playing in a packed stadium." Brown with a lighthearted joke when talking about playing in the Mercedes Benz Dome.

Brown said that Steve Angeli has taken his game to "another level" since being named the starter. Brown also added that backup Rickie Collins has done the same.

Some of these questions are absurd and why the local media takes a beating a lot on here.
A bit but I think he can do better and be a bit more upbeat. I think Fran needs to get some sleep. He's cranky.

When I was a freshman at SU, beer sales went until the end of the 3rd quarter.

At some point (maybe my 1st junior year?) it had moved to the end of halftime.

Might have been my fault. Might have been the fault of the unruly West Virginia fans in 1993. I guess we'll never know.
