Coach Brown was asked about Kyle saying coming to Syracuse was the best decision of his life. His response: “Outside of my wife and kids it was one of the best decisions of my life too.”

"I don't know what it takes to be ranked anymore." While discussing Syracuse's preparation for No. 8 Miami, Fran Brown shares that he has a bone to pick with the AP Top 25 selection system.

With Syracuse playing No. 8 Miami in the Dome Saturday after Thanksgiving, Fran Brown gave his pitch for students to come back to campus early. “It’s a day party,” Brown said. “Come to the day party and watch Syracuse play Miami.”

I don’t think the voters care about “how” you win as much “if” you win. At least for the teams that aren’t in playoff contention.

I just read an article on Mario’s pre Syracuse press conference
it was a little odd in that when he talks about our offense he says how great our running back is, how great Gadsden is and how we have a great physical Offensive line.almost always refers to a position or a number, only Gadsden is mentioned as a name cause he is a local kid.
Never mentions Kyle or how good our quarterback is - except to say in a late question that this game is not about Cam vs Kyle.
i got the impression that he really doesn’t know a lot about us yet.
or what he knows is just from press clippings
Maybe that’s normal.
i just get the feeling he does not think we are great competition

he also talks about the classic Miami Syracuse game at the dome in 92 where they barely beat us when Chris Gedney was stopped at the 3rd yard line as time ran out.
Mario was at that game.
