Collins issue is seeing it fast enough to be set properly to make the throws. When you see things late you make bad throws. Just like baseball.

The last pick was not a bad throw that just PI not called and the WR not making the play.

The 2 picks were the right play but to the wrong place.

Its getting better. But we run block so poorly we cant even really run play action and that doesnt help any QB.

Some of the throws late were low, and again because he was late getting to that read and not really set. A couple times he tried to make throws when he would have been to just run, but he ran for his life a ton and Angelli is probably not saving those plays.

Honestly potentially a college gameday game, especially if Duke is completely different with Angeli and we are 6-1, 4-0 in the conference.

Think we beat SMU with Angeli, not certain on Duke.

I think his first pick was a terrible throw.

I think his second pick was a horrible read compounded by a terrible throw.

Not going to pile on too much because the issues are more than just Rickie, but imo he is not able to play QB at this level. At least not right now.

That second INT was really the end of the line for me with Rickie.

I'm not going to say Carney is going to be awesome. He's a true frosh from a small school. I get it. But Rickie's decisions and throws are awful for the most part. And once you lose faith in the QB, it brings down the rest of the team. If you don't think the QB can throw the route tree or make the right decision, it's over.

Rickie gets more intelligence, or Luke gets more arm strength?

It has to slow down before you the ceiling. In a perfect world that would have been 2 yrs from now

It’s not even the INT’s or missed throws. He can’t read the defense or isn’t processing what’s happening fast enough to make the throws he should at the right time. I’m not sure he even knows the playbook that well. He’s missing guys on their break even when he knows where he wants to throw it. He’s missing guys who are wide open even in the same half of the field he’s staring down his next INT throw.

Yeah I think Duke was a brutal game not just because Rickie stinks but I think the team as a whole was not focused after Clemson. Guessing we would be 5-2 now, we certainly would have hammered Pitt

Arm strength is a joke , Rickie can't most times put the ball where our receivers can catch it. A lot of catches have been where our receivers have to outright the defenders for the ball. The last TD against SMU was short of the end zone and Cook had to reach over the defender to get the ball.

At this point, I watch these press conferences just to see the Fran/Javon interactions. He didn't even know that Antoine came back into the game. And Fran said something to him again at the end of the feed. Fun stuff in a terrible season.

For having a strong arm, he comes up short with his passes a lot.
