To be fair, we knew he was a pass protection guy when they brought him in, not a running coach.
Why they can't be both, I don't know.

I think Fran was referring to Kordae Houston, who hadn’t signed yet at the time of the presser. Supposedly other schools were making a late push. But he eventually signed so all good.

I haven't either, but his total defense ranks since taking over as DC there in 2020 are: 36, 36, 18, 27, 54, 2.

He also has HCing experience. He seems to know his Xs and Os but has only been at lower levels.
