DC and NYC I agree … some cities in Cali absolutely … as a former resident out of the range of Marta having to drive 75, 85 and 285 it is God awful. Marta has very limited range just don’t leave the perimeter.

Dragon Con is the same weekend as the Tennessee game. Hotels are through the roof.

*Editor's Note: I studied for--and took--the LSAT at UTK, I used to sit on UTK's campus and read between semesters at 'Cuse, I crashed at their FIJI house more than once back at the day, and I did night stocking and receiving at a Lowes in Maryville, TN before I started law school. I was planning on going, but I checked out hotels last week and I'm not paying what I am seeing.

I made that decision months ago. Going to GaTech instead.

If you stay at an airport hotel, just take a hotel shuttle to the airport where there is a MARTA train station that takes you into downtown for $2.50. Easy, peasy.

I'm staying at the north side of the airport for GaTech...about half the price of Buckhead which had gotten really pricey.
