J Thomas off the two deep, not sure why but Shy has to licking his chops for next year and beyond

I don't believe Thomas has appeared on the 2 deep all year, though he appears to get many more snaps than Perry.

Sure don't. Have to pass the ball and get our playmakers In space. That way we can establish points and control the scoreboard this weekend.

Best way to pressure the opposing offense is put them behind and make them feel like they have to score everytime.

Sure do. They are a poor running team and are going to come out chucking. Our secondary is the weak link in our D. That's a bad combo. Our best chance of winning is controlling the clock with the running game (our strength) and keeping their pass happy offense off of the field.

We will pass to keep them from stacking the box but we will try to establish the run first IMHO.

We should be able to DOMINATE time of possession if we can run the ball at all. As others have mentioned, UVA is a lousy running team. We should be able to shut them down (they certainly don't have a back like Mack, let alone Fournette) on the ground.

Feed the ball to JF. many times. gotta keep their offense off the field. they won't run on us, but they will probably throw it 40 times. their QB is easily rattled, Thompson and crew need to bring the heat. Must win for us. Must win for them too, but screw them.

Suppose I don't see our running game as our strength with Dungey at the helm. Controlling the clock via the run is great if you can do it, not as much if your going 3 and out on 3 runs. I'd rather get one of our stud rb's or hb's in space given the o line not always creating said space for them or get it down the field to Bris or Ish.
