Totally agreeI'm not saying he played very well. I'm just saying he looked a little more settled. That's an objective observation of my own.

Cole looks like he just started playing basketball this year…I thought after 10 games that we had the worst starting forwards I'd ever seen here. And it wasn't even close.
I was shocked that Benny looked worse than them. But all three of them have regressed and played worse since then.
I believe the pressure of being JB's first losing season has gotten to Jim's sons and now has everyone on this team in total disarray. But the fact of the matter is Benny couldn't earn playing time over Cole and Jimmy even as bad as they have played. I don't think anyone can dispute that, but what happened to Benny tonight is absolute BS and actually hard to believe. Wow, I can't imagine being his father. He should enter the portal, there is no reason on earth for that to happen.
And Jimmy still plays like he’s the best player on a really bad Ivy League team.Cole looks like he just started playing basketball this year…
This sounds so familiar. When folks talked about body language and what they saw from certain players last season, it was Pooh-poohed as much ado about nothing. But then the transfers happened, and here we are again.I’m guessing that JB has gotten word that Benny is gone so JB has decided to give up on him.
It’s really too bad. There’s nothing to lose by playing Benny instead of Jimmy or Cole.
You aren’t the only oneThe misanthrope in me is thinking JAB already knows he will have to retire at the end of the year, but wants to push Benny away, so that the next coach stands less of a chance of succeeding and diminishing the JAB legend.
Thought the same and if so JB should be canned today.Wonder if JB wanted to see if Benny would refuse…
At this point the winning record streak is the only left to play for.JB purposely tanking Benny’s minutes basically blew up in his face with the injury to Sy.
JB pulled one kid from the rotation and then Sy gets injured and all of a sudden our bench is now JBA and Frank.
And maybe Sid?
We have to hope that no one rolls an ankle next game. Not sure it really matters at this point, though.
And unfortunately there’s now a 2-year track record of this. Last year it wasn’t his son, more like his adopted son in JG3. But if I’m recruiting vs SU, I show them JB’s pressers, throwing players under the bus, media remarks/comments, team MPG and shots per game, and it’s easy pickings. The worst thing about coach not playing Benny is what it will do to recruiting. Every other coach gets to point out that Boeheim chose to play his own son over a 5 star recruit. That narrative alone is going to hurt recruiting. Would you trust your college career to that coach?
All recruits have to do is watch JB berate certain players during the game and give them the quick hook after one mistake. It's cringeworthy. No wonder players play scared. And unfortunately there’s now a 2-year track record of this. Last year it wasn’t his son, more like his adopted son in JG3. Unless their outta their minds, no 5-star or their entourage would stake their future on that kinda dumpster fire. JMHO
I think back to Jalen Carey, who was a four-star and his dad was good friends with Red. He had a lot of big-time schools looking at him coming out of high school, but it didn't work out well for Jalen here, so he transferred to URI and his numbers aren't much better there. I think kids just need to look at what their opportunities are and take advantage of them when presented. That said, hopefully we see more Benny going forward.Unless their outta their minds, no 5-star or their entourage would stake their future on that kinda dumpster fire. JMHO
Fair enough. And I Agree about Jalen. He showed some signs vs UConn at msg, was given every opportunity to succeed, and it didn’t work out.I think back to Jalen Carey, who was a four-star and his dad was good friends with Red. these are all valid points...but on the other hand...we have to take some of the blame for not getting these recruits as well. And unfortunately there’s now a 2-year track record of this.
