I've been following the teams since before my freshman years in 1974. The current situation is as difficult as I can remember. Only a short while ago there was so much optimism even with the loss of fifth-year senior quarterback there was an electrifying freshman to step in. A new indoor practice facility was completed. A new athletic director. Positive recruting news. Great ideas and exciting news for re-modeling and updating the Dome. Now this entire thing seems to be in freefall. Maybe even worse I'm pretty sure GROB was on the sideline again.
