Dungey is a very athletic freshman. But he is a freshman and he is a part of the problem this year. Just too soon to expect him to win games.

We have a lot more problems than freshman QB's

That's the point. Dungey was a pleasant surprise early in the season, but it's brutal to make him the focal point of this offense and get him beaten up. Hopefully it doesn't ruin him. Remember Tom Savage at Rutgers?

He gets beat up, because outside of Steve, he can't count on his receivers to catch the ball, so he takes off and runs.

Obviously not different, Rosen/Watson, you are implying fr QB are coach killers, here are two who aren't, this is petty semantics, you are obviously correct

I never gave an opinion on coach killers.

I think most of us became too optimistic about Dungey's short-term prospects after the first 3 games. The first, cheap-shot head injury, and, especially the improved level of competition brought it all back to earth. My point is, if Dungey had a year to red shirt, or had he been a consensus 5-star, then the original statement about "coach Keller' would not have come up.

Dabo Swinney didn't get fired last year. Rich Rodriguez didn't get fired last year. Al Golden would've gotten fired last year if not for his freshman quarterback. Kevin Sumlin didn't get fired last year. Dave Clawson wasn't fired last year. Jim Mora won't be fired this year. Bobby Petrino won't be fired this year. Art Briles won't be fired this year. Kevin Sumlin probably won't be fired this year, again

As promising as Dungey may look, he hasn't come through in the big games. His arm isn't strong and he plays like he's still in high school, where he can beat defenses by himself.
