Noel & Goodluck set to go this weekend in Boston

They have won five of their last six league contests by five points or less, including a 73-68 victory over Transit Tech on Thursday, January 12. Super sophomore Isaiah Whitehead dropped in 21 points for the Railsplitters; he is the city's brightest young hoops star and is being recruited by Big East schools such as St. John's and Georgetown.

OK, a great team such as Syracuse or North Carolina is going to be more threatening than a Minnesota team that had opened its Big Ten Conference season 0-4.TSN

The gentleman put up a valiant effort against a bigger, more experience team in Syracuse University, the first round opponent for ISU.
Now, there is a target on the backs of ISU as they are the conference defending champions.

A Brief History Lesson to Ensure a Failure of Repetition

Ten Mid Season Observations is quite a good review and status of the 'Cuse this season. Even though written by Bleacher Report...it is an article we should read and embrace...good find!

BE Awards: For Seth Davis's mention of 'Cuse I award him the of the year award...and if I had the power...I would fire him on the spot for being totally incompetent!

What I found really interesting/nauseating, outside of the total fluff peace, is in the final portion of the article when he mentions, "what to look for", there is no SU mention. One would think that he would mention the final undefeated teams and suggest when they might take a loss. Nope, he mentions the KY Jelly guard and something about him being,"championship caliber or not".

O' and please please someone get in touch with Coleman's people. We do not need him to go to any tourneys that have to do with fast food! He needs to be playing in the, "Carrots and Celery Dunked in Ranch Jam".:)

He should hang with Fab & Dion this summer.

This Day in 'Cuse History - January 13th

I clearly remember GMac stealing the ball at the end of the 1st half of that Missouri game, and calming swishing a 15 ft. That was my first GMac moment. I also started thinking that the team could be very good that season. I might have realized this earlier but I missed the GTech game.
