What fueled Sto-Rox in the third quarter was a dunkfest by Dontez Ford and Lamonte Harrison. Both had a few impressive slams that ignited the Vikings. On one of Ford's dunks, he took a pass off the backboard and threw down a hard jam
"Our team thrives off those," Ford said of the dunks. "They get everyone going even more."
Ford, a senior and a Syracuse football recruit, finished with a game-high 18
Sto-Rox led at halftime, 35-27. Ford and Harrison had dunks on back-to-back possessions in the third quarter to give the Vikings a 43-32 lead. Harrison had another dunk with 3:34 left in the third quarter to put the Vikings ahead, 52-34.
"Other than our defense, I think our best thing is our versatility with a lot of guys," Ford said.

I know I have posted this before but for those of you who missed it there are some great shots of Archbold Stadium. In the opening they show the tunnel where the players went on and off the field from. As a fifth grader I attended my first SU game. After the game our football team, Salem Hyde, went down to the tunnel to see the players leave the field. My buddy Vito grabbed Jim Brown's chin strap and ran like the devil. Little did I know that on that day I was witnessing the greatest football player ever to play the game. What a gift.
