Syracuse Mention

The NCAA ranks the 120 teams based on how many scores they yield in the red zone, though no offensive coach in America is pleased at settling for a short field goal. The Herd has given up nine of those, only topped by Syracuse and Kent State.

And, no offense to any of the schools involved, Pittsburgh and Syracuse moving from the Big East to the ACC and Texas A&M and possibly Missouri bolting the Big 12 for the SEC simply doesn’t move the needle enough for the Irish reconsider their very staunch football stance. Besides, if the needle ultimately moves enough to get the Irish off football independence, the Big Ten will be their destination. Not the Big East, not the ACC, not the Big 12, not any other conference.

That picture represents on of the top days of my life.
Jerry I just wish Trey was doing that for us. I think his supporters here on the board, and he has many, always envisioned that kind of production. That picture is a favorite of mine, what kid goes out and gets an Orange shirt and a Blue tie for signing day. Too bad he couldn't transfer back here for his final season.

he could if he graduated and chose the right major?

noticed the comment on zook going for two up 7.. thats the play more coaches should be using but too afraid too..

Also, I enjoy how beloved Trey still is by the Syracuse faithful, despite never playing for us. Says a lot about both Trey and the entire Fairchild family.
