Wow. Take a look at this nifty graft by Winn about our last four point guards:

Syracuse Orange (15-0)
Tyler Ennis, the co-MVP of this freshman class along with Jabari Parker, continues to outperform Syracuse's three previous point guards. In the chart below, I've taken Ennis' stats against the Orange's seven kenpom top-100 opponents, to eliminate non-conference fluff, and compared them to those of the team's primary point guard from the past five seasons. Ennis is in a class by himself:

Assist/ TO ratio is 6 to 1. That's an insane ratio.

I really enjoyed some of our recent PG play, including MCW last year. However, I'd much rather have Tyler because for every super-athletic steal, coast to coast and dunk MCW had, I expected another poorly missed three or wild drive (as often happens with someone running point for first time).

With TE, I'm shocked when he commits his one TO a game. I literally expect him not to make a mistake based on his 1/2 season record, his calm demeanor, etc. I also expect him to knock down late FT's. WIth mcw, I was always wary.
