Video: Kaleb Joseph Talks About the 6 OT GAme and How it Sparked His Love of SU Hoops (PS; Carlson)
Syracuse's six-overtime win over Connecticut still plays on a loop on a television screen inside the Carmelo K. Anthony Center.
It likely remains one of the five most memorable games the Orange men's basketball team has ever played. The stakes in the 127-117 Big East quarterfinal win over UConn were far less important than SU's national championship games and Final Four appearances.

Chad Ford's last mock draft placed Tyler Ennis at No.11 to Denver with Jerami Grant landing in Toronto with the 20th overall selection.
Ennis remains at No. 10 on Ford's "big board" with Grant coming in at No. 21.
Ennis ranks as the third best point guard in the draft on Ford's positional rankings with Jerami Grant listed at No. 9 on Ford's Top 10 'wings' category.

David Aldridge has been rolling out positional rankings on NBA.com
Tyler Ennis is listed as his third best point guard available with Jerami Grant (No.6) and C.J. Fair (No.7) back-to-back in the small forward category.
According to Aldrige's sources, the reviews are mixed on Fair.
"I think C.J. is right there with" Hood, one admirer said. "He's going to, like all Syracuse guys, get tested defensively to see how he adjusts. But he's got a good offensive skill set."
But other personnel types aren't as sure. They worry about his quickness, his ability to create his own shot, and that problem behind the arc. Does Fair, they ask, do anything exceptionally well enough?"

Ryan Anderson Has Left the Building
Chance at a Title Lures BC's Anderson to Arizona (azstarnet.com; Pascoe)
During three seasons at Boston College, forward Ryan Anderson was on the winning team less than 40 percent of the time.
He doesn’t figure to have that problem at his new school. Because Anderson chose Thursday evening to finish his career at Arizona, committing to the Wildcats after taking an official recruiting visit to Tucson.

Jabari Parker Offers a Heartfelt Goodbye to Duke (fayobserver.com; Strelow)
In an Instagram post measuring roughly 300 words, NBA draft prospect Jabari Parker said goodbye to Duke, the people connected to the university and the friendly people who populate the state of North Carolina, thanking them for making his one season in Durham special:
Finally found the time to get to it so I'll start here. Last summer I spent countless nights walking across this floor, looking at the banners of the players/coaches responsible for this great program. Then I look off over into the stands, home to some of the best fans. Lastly, I walk over to our team's bench, dreaming of the moment when they call out "A 6'8 freshman from Chicago, IL."

Waters Series Ranking Last 26 SU Hoops Teams
GMac Scored 43 Points to Lead Syracuse to Win Over BYU
#9 2003-04 Team Advanced to Sweet 16 (PS; Waters)
NO. 9: 2003-04 TEAM
Overall record: 23-8
Conference record (finish): 11-5 (tie 3rd in Big East)
Postseason: Lost to Alabama in NCAA tournament's Sweet 16
Best player: Gerry McNamara
This was an extremely tough choice.
Hakim Warrick led Syracuse in both scoring and rebounding. Still, Gerry McNamara was Syracuse's main guy in this season. The following year, Warrick would lead Syracuse in scoring and rebounding again and, by then, Warrick had become a real force. He would be the Big East's Player of the Year in 2005.
But not in 2004. Warrick racked up some nice numbers (19.8 points, 8.6 rebounds), but McNamara scored 17.2 points per game, hoisted up 270 3-pointers and made a career-best 38.9 percent of them and led the team in assists with 118.

NO. 10: 1993-94 TEAM
Overall record: 23-7
Conference record (finish): 13-5 (2nd in Big East)
Postseason: Lost to Missouri in NCAA tournament's Sweet 16
Best player: Lawrence Moten
Lawrence Moten, the all-time leading scorer in Syracuse history, averaged a career-best 21.5 points per game in his junior year at SU. Moten made just 28 percent of his 3-point attempts, but overall he was a 50.1 percent shooter that year.
