IF they win.

you get to enjoy all the thursday games without worrying about cuse. then we get the early game friday, IF they win that you get to enjoy all the rest of the games friday AND all of the games saturday. of course if they lose early friday then the rest of friday and the weekend is ruined.

so the bottle line is, they better win.

I watch every second anyways so win or lose its still a win in my book . I never lose interest in this tournament

I immediately lose interest once Syracuse is out. Yes, that's means I gave 0 . . . . s from start to finish of last year's tourney. I describe myself as a Syracuse basketball fan rather than a college basketball fan.
Its the greatest sporting event on the planet. I dont miss a second of it regardless of how we do.

I do hope we win Friday for many reasons. I do hope we win for guys like you who are making the trip. I know we watch it regardless but it sure does make watching better when we have a win in the bank at noon with three games to go.

Sucks for me. My ONLY meeting Friday is from 9 - 10:30 Pacific. I stupidly set it weeks ago thinking "what are the odds Syracuse plays then". I'm an idiot.

The Thursday nooner is the absolute worst...No energy, no crowd, nobody really watching yet...and if you lose, you're the first team out before the Tourney gets hot.

I think the Oklahoma State game in 1999 was in that slot...Can't remember too many others. Was Southern Illinois in 1995 or Iona in 1998? I remember watching/listening to those at school.

Reschedule that shiz!

Regardless of how we do, I'll still be at the bar from 8am-? Friday-Sunday. I hate that I need to be at work tomorrow, but was very glad to see we had the Friday game.

I was considering taking the day off to stay home and watch the game... but I am so afraid that would jinx us and cause a loss

I'm the same way. I just love it. I always schedule these days off first thing every year. I almost cancelled my time off in 2007 since I was so irate but still watched

I'm working from home on Friday. I feel a head cold <<cough>> <<cough>> coming on.

The one that get's me the most was when we played the last game on Sunday, and to change 3 time zones, and play the first game on Thursday. The team we were playing got an extra day of rest. It was awful and made me so mad. Does anyone remember what year that was?

I have Friday off, not Thursday. Beer cracked at 12. Friends coming down after the get off from work so probably around 5pm, then going out partying. I'll probably be past out by then though.

Lol. I literally belly laughed at this comment

Amen. It's mind boggling how many people don't scratch off those two afternoons on their calendars first thing every year.

Just started a new job in February and am taking a week long trip to St. John in April so no days off for me yet. Maybe I'll "work" from home on Friday.

My sentiments exactly.

You know, deep in your heart, that you do not have that kind of power.

Do what will make you the happiest!

For those of us who only follow our team and have zero interest in the other games when SU gets bounced, the best possible start time is late Friday night... e.g. 10:47 pm. Guarantees we'll have a vested interest in the first 2 days. We've only been that fortunate once in the last decade that I can recall.

Agree 100% especially since I have off
