The Thursday nooner is the absolute worst...No energy, no crowd, nobody really watching yet...and if you lose, you're the first team out before the Tourney gets hot.

I think the Oklahoma State game in 1999 was in that slot...Can't remember too many others. Was Southern Illinois in 1995 or Iona in 1998? I remember watching/listening to those at school.

The one that get's me the most was when we played the last game on Sunday, and to change 3 time zones, and play the first game on Thursday. The team we were playing got an extra day of rest. It was awful and made me so mad. Does anyone remember what year that was?

For those of us who only follow our team and have zero interest in the other games when SU gets bounced, the best possible start time is late Friday night... e.g. 10:47 pm.
