It happens. Melo went like 4 for 30 last night with 3 airballs. Granted, Melo's earned more leeway than Waiters, but you could find a lot of games of good players looking absolutely atrocious.

Melo met Paul George. Tirico pointed out Waiters' struggles like the past 10 games. That Cavs clip was a small little vignette of his struggles. Even counting last night where he was pretty good he is still shooting 31% from 2 and 31% from 3 in Feb.

Players slump. I'm just saying that this video doesn't immediately make me thing 'oh man, Waiters is garbage.' Sure, it's really really bad, but suckage of this magnitude is not entirely uncommon for NBA players.

It is what it is...we have nearly four years of data that show that "My heart will Dion" is closer to the norm than going 8-11.
