Frustrated and disappointed, but not surprised

We get out rebounded 10 plus routinely. Our guys are skinny. We get athletes that can struggle against physical teams. Roberson had that great rebounding game against Duke, but we haven't seen the production since.

We...Need...A...Real...Big...Man...Coach...

We are too freaking soft inside except for Coleman who was off two years and has bad knees. He will need knee replacements at a very young age.

What scares me is who Hopkins hires as his replacement when he takes over. We need to open the coffers and offer top dollar to get a real big man coach who can also teach free throw shooting also.

Hopkins a time back said they don't waste their time teaching the bigs on how to box out in a zone defense in an interview. It really shows against teams who just want it more and are physical.

In fairness you actually have some sort of offensive talent to work with. I'm not going to get on Coleman because he has dealt with debilitating injuries over his career, and as bad as it sounds he has actually improved a decent amount since his Freshman year.

But my point is you need to have something to work with in the first place. Where guys like Chino, Baye, Riley guys anyone thought would eventually develop an offensive game? I certainly didn't. But then you have guys like Christmas, Slick Rick, Fab, and Arinze who were totally different players then when they arrived on campus.

I just don't see how this is a coaching problem? If anything it's taking chances on suspect talent because they look like they can play in the back of the zone.
