We got the game to 38-30 and I thought we were poised for a second half run.
What was very frustrating was the missed opportunities. When ND missed or turned it over, we did not make a play in our halfcourt offense.
Cooley gets a flagrant 1-- we get 1 point out of it instead of the maximum of 5.
We get the ball, Dion dribbles off of his foot. We get the ball, we jack a contested three.
Very hard game to watch. Again, this is why the talk of undefeated season was very humorous to me. These games happen. The cincy game on monday is big. If Cooley can dominate our bigs, Gates will make it look two times easier.
Don't know what was up with Joseph. He looked absolutely terrible tonight. In fact, only Southerland had a decent game, despite only grabbing two rebounds. Give ND credit, they executed their offense and showed more heart than us. Didn't help that we couldn't throw the ball in the ocean if we were standing on the beach..
