At least the playoff gets rid of them. If it were just two teams, we would've never heard the end of it whether they were included or excluded

I am just going to adopt SEC logic. The only reason FSU Is getting hammered is because they didn't want to be there. It couldn't possibly be their opponent being an excellent team...

FSU's defense has been suspect all season, unlike last year. They were on a think thread during the season of going undefeated. Even knowing this, I didn't think FSU would make so many mistakes and turn-overs in this game. Oregon executed just so well - great coaching job and execution by that team.

Oregon scored 5 TDs off the 5 turnovers. Otherwise the stats weren't that different. Oregon certainly took advantage and made FSU pay.
 
I can only imagine what Oregon will wear for uniforms in 11 days. I am sure it will be "out of the box" thinking
 
If undefeated is sufficient for playoff entry, they should just make that a rule and be done with the charade.

Oregon is fun to watch. Love the fast pace. So glad they whooped FSU. Of course FSU has no real D.

Actually, Oregon's defense had a lot to do with this result, holding FSU to two field goals in their first three trips to the red zone and then getting those 5 turnovers to blow it open. Defense still matters in a high scoring game, as it does in basketball. But it's so hard to shut a good team down these days, you've got to have the ability to score- a lot- to be good. Ohio State has wrung up 547 yards and 42 points on the mighty Alabama defense as I am typing this. If 'Bama can't stop these modern offenses, nobody can.
